Lino print - “Crack eggs, not farmers”.

$39.42

Limited edition lino print of a chicken with a breakfast egg - a big dipper. This was drawn, designed, hand carved and hand printed by me.

This is an original edition of just 9 plus an artist’s proof. It was inspired by listening to a programme about the farming community who are struggling to make ends meet and get a fair price for eggs from supermarkets. Hence the title ‘crack eggs, not farmers’. But it also seeks just to be a joyful bit true - who doesn’t like a boiled egg and soldiers dipped in!

This was hand carved into reclaimed lino using the reduction method meaning one piece of lino was used, inked and carved four times to build up the colours. It was printed on an etching press in my home studio onto acid free paper using artist quality water based inks.

It’s a limited edition. The artist’s proof listed here is on Somerset Smooth acid free paper and is 21cm square. It’s is signed and will be despatched with a certificate of authenticity.

Postage within the UK is included and it will be shipped between strong card.

The sale of this print does not transfer the copyright of the work. The artist Pamela Mulholland retains all reproduction rights and copy rights.
