Limited edition lino print of The National Coastguard Institute on the Island, in St Ives, Cornwall. This was drawn, designed, hand carved and printed by me.
This is an original edition of just 13 plus proofs. It is inspired by one of my favourite spots in St Ives, The Island, where Maisie the studio dog likes to take her morning walk. She often pops into the NCI station to say hello to the morning volunteers.
This was hand carved with 4 layers into reclaimed lino using the reduction method meaning one piece of lino was used, inked and carved four times to build up the colours. It was printed on my press in my home studio onto acid free paper using artist quality water based inks. Recently exhibited at the St.Ives Society of Artists Spring Open in May/June 2023.
It’s a limited edition of 13 and as it has been made using the reduction method, cannot be reprinted. It’s is signed and will be despatched with a certificate of authenticity. The image is 31cm x 20.5 cm on A3 paper (420 x 297mm)
Postage within the UK is included and it will be shipped between strong card.
