A solar plate etching, designed, etched and hand printed by me. It’s a handprinted limited edition of 40 and shows the lighthouse on Smeaton’s Pier in St Ives Cornwall. The lighthouse is an iconic spot on the harbourside. I’ve designed and inked this to have a vintage feel and printed it in my studio at home on my etching press. It’s on Southbank acid free paper (280) and I used professional etching ink. The actual image is A5 size printed onto A4 paper and so would fit a standard off the shelf frame.
